Gene:
A kinase (PRKA) anchor protein 2
Description:
The PALM2-AKAP2 mRNA is a naturally occurring co-transcribed product of the neighboring PALM2 and AKAP2 genes. The significance of this co-transcribed mRNA and the function of its protein product have not yet been determined. Alternative splicing of this gene results in several transcript variants encoding different isoforms, but the full-length nature of some of these variants has not been defined.
