In its nonsevere expression, the symptoms and signs include Photophobia, Foreign body sensation, Eyelid retraction, increased intraocular pressure, Lagophthalmos, and Mild diplopia. In its severe expression, it is a disfiguring and invalidating disease with the optic nerve damaged.
