This general framework leads to study 3 specific research objectives:\n\n1. To identify determinants (socio-demographic characteristics, clinical characteristics, health related quality of life (QoL), changes in classification, and biomarkers) for the progression of MS disease and its consequences;\n2. To study the effectiveness of treatments in real life;\n3. To merge both determinants and treatments for creating patient-centered prognostic tools for identifying specific subgroups of patients and helping making decision to start, maintain or adapt care management.\n\nTo achieve these objectives, the OFSEP (The French multiple sclerosis registry) infrastructure, managed under a quality insurance system, offers a unique opportunity for the first time in France to create a large cohort of MS cases, providing high-definition and sequential multimodal data.'}, 'eligibilityModule': {'sex': 'ALL', 'stdAges': ['CHILD', 'ADULT', 'OLDER_ADULT'], 'minimumAge': '15 Years', 'samplingMethod': 'NON_PROBABILITY_SAMPLE', 'studyPopulation': 'All MS patients from MS Clinical Reference Centre (CRC SEP).', 'healthyVolunteers': False, 'eligibilityCriteria': 'Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Diagnosis of multiple sclerosis according to the most recent criteria at entry into the HD cohort\n* Followed in one MS Clinical Reference Centre (CRC SEP)\n* Newly diagnosed after the study start or\n* If MS onset occurred before study start, regular follow-up in a CRC SEP\n* Irreversible disability ≤ 7.0 (permanent use of a wheelchair) on EDSS at inclusion in the study\n\nNon-inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Inability to answer questionnaires\n* Pregnant women at the time of inclusion'}, 'identificationModule': {'nctId': 'NCT03603457', 'acronym': 'OFSEP HD', 'briefTitle': 'OFSEP High Definition Cohort', 'organization': {'class': 'OTHER', 'fullName': 'EDMUS Foundation'}, 'officialTitle': 'OFSEP High Definition Cohort', 'orgStudyIdInfo': {'id': '002'}}, 'contactsLocationsModule': {'locations': [{'city': 'Besançon', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU de Besançon', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 47.24878, 'lon': 6.01815}}, {'city': 'Bordeaux', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU de Bordeaux', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 44.84124, 'lon': -0.58046}}, {'city': 'Caen', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU de Caen', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 49.18585, 'lon': -0.35912}}, {'city': 'Clermont-Ferrand', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU de Clermont-Ferrand', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 45.77969, 'lon': 3.08682}}, {'city': 'Créteil', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU de Créteil', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 48.79266, 'lon': 2.46569}}, {'city': 'Dijon', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU de Dijon', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 47.31344, 'lon': 5.01391}}, {'city': 'Grenoble', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU de Grenoble', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 45.17869, 'lon': 5.71479}}, {'city': 'Lille', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU de Lille', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 50.63391, 'lon': 3.05512}}, {'city': 'Limoges', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU de Limoges', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 45.83362, 'lon': 1.24759}}, {'city': 'Lyon', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU de Lyon', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 45.74906, 'lon': 4.84789}}, {'city': 'Montpellier', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU de Montpellier', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 43.61093, 'lon': 3.87635}}, {'city': 'Nancy', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU de Nancy', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 48.68439, 'lon': 6.18496}}, {'city': 'Nantes', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU de Nantes', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 47.21725, 'lon': -1.55336}}, {'city': 'Nice', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU de Nice', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 43.70313, 'lon': 7.26608}}, {'city': 'Nîmes', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU de Nîmes', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 43.83665, 'lon': 4.35788}}, {'city': 'Paris', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU Pitié-Salpétrière', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 48.85341, 'lon': 2.3488}}, {'city': 'Paris', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU Saint-Antoine', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 48.85341, 'lon': 2.3488}}, {'city': 'Paris', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'Fondation Rothschild', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 48.85341, 'lon': 2.3488}}, {'city': 'Poissy', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHI de Poissy-Saint-Germain-en-Laye', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 48.92902, 'lon': 2.04952}}, {'city': 'Poitiers', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU de Poitiers', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 46.58261, 'lon': 0.34348}}, {'city': 'Rennes', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU de Rennes', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 48.11109, 'lon': -1.67431}}, {'city': 'Strasbourg', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU de Strasbourg', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 48.58392, 'lon': 7.74553}}, {'city': 'Toulouse', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU de Toulouse', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 43.60426, 'lon': 1.44367}}, {'city': 'Tours', 'country': 'France', 'facility': 'CHU de Tours', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 47.39484, 'lon': 0.70398}}, {'city': 'Fort-de-France', 'country': 'Martinique', 'facility': 'CHU de Fort-de-France', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 14.60365, 'lon': -61.07418}}]}, 'ipdSharingStatementModule': {'url': 'http://www.ofsep.org/en/data-access', 'ipdSharing': 'YES'}, 'sponsorCollaboratorsModule': {'leadSponsor': {'name': 'EDMUS Foundation', 'class': 'OTHER'}, 'responsibleParty': {'type': 'SPONSOR'}}}}
