All of the above anesthetics risks urged some anesthetists to alternatively use spinal anesthesia (SA) in infants undergoing pyloromyotomy.\n\nThis anesthetic technique proved to be both safe and efficient in infants undergoing pyloromyotomy, in addition to decreasing the mentioned risks associated with the other techniques.\n\nThis retrospective study will review the files of all infants with HPS, who were treated by open pyloromyotomy under SA in the Bnai Zion Medical Center between the years 2006 to 2015. It is designed to evaluate the postoperative full enteral feeding time, pain management and the incidence of post-operative apnea, the incidence of substantial vomiting episodes and other spinal anesthesia complications as secondary outcomes in infants undergoing pyloromyotomy under spinal anesthesia.'}, 'eligibilityModule': {'sex': 'ALL', 'stdAges': ['CHILD'], 'maximumAge': '8 Weeks', 'minimumAge': '4 Weeks', 'samplingMethod': 'NON_PROBABILITY_SAMPLE', 'studyPopulation': 'All infants with Hypertrophic Pylorostenosis, who were treated by open pyloromyotomy under Spinal Anesthesia in the Bnai-Zion Medical Center between the years 2006 to 2015.', 'healthyVolunteers': False, 'eligibilityCriteria': 'Inclusion Criteria:\n\nInfants with Hypertrophic Pylorostenosis, treated by open pyloromyotomy under Spinal Anesthesia\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\nInfants with Hypertrophic Pylorostenosis,treated by open pyloromyotomy under General Anesthesia'}, 'identificationModule': {'nctId': 'NCT02879292', 'briefTitle': 'Post-operative Outcomes in the Pyloromyotomy Procedure Under Spinal Anesthesia', 'organization': {'class': 'OTHER_GOV', 'fullName': 'Bnai Zion Medical Center'}, 'officialTitle': 'Post-operative Outcomes in the Pyloromyotomy Procedure Under Spinal Anesthesia: A Retrospective Study in 100 Cases', 'orgStudyIdInfo': {'id': 'BnaiZionMC-16-LG-010'}}, 'armsInterventionsModule': {'interventions': [{'name': 'Spinal anesthesia', 'type': 'OTHER', 'description': 'Spinal Anesthesia'}]}, 'contactsLocationsModule': {'centralContacts': [{'name': 'Luis A Gaitini, M.D.', 'role': 'CONTACT', 'email': 'luis.gaitini@b-zion.org.il', 'phone': '# 972 4 8359346'}, {'name': 'Mostafa Somri, M.D.', 'role': 'CONTACT', 'email': 'mostafa.somri@b-zion.org.il', 'phone': '# 972 4 8359304'}], 'overallOfficials': [{'name': 'mira koch, M.A.', 'role': 'STUDY_CHAIR', 'affiliation': 'Bnai Zion Medical Center'}]}, 'ipdSharingStatementModule': {'ipdSharing': 'YES'}, 'sponsorCollaboratorsModule': {'leadSponsor': {'name': 'Bnai Zion Medical Center', 'class': 'OTHER_GOV'}, 'responsibleParty': {'type': 'PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR', 'investigatorTitle': 'M.D.', 'investigatorFullName': 'LUIS.GAITINI', 'investigatorAffiliation': 'Bnai Zion Medical Center'}}}}
