Medical professionals are responsible for identifying and assessing individuals exposed to traumatic with forensic relevance .\n\nTraumatic injuries are considered a significant burden on health care system worldwide. According to National Trauma Institute in US, traumatic injuries accounted for 30% of all life years lost in the 2009 .The effect of traumatic injuries on life years lost is equivalent to the life years lost from cancer, cardiovascular disease and HIV together .Trauma is the third leading cause of death among all age groups and the mortality rate is exceptionally high particularly among young age group ..\n\nAlthough traumatic injuries affect both genders ,women remain under-representative in all kind of studies including trauma and non-trauma medical disorders due to socio-cultural barriers .However ,women sustaining traumatic injuries should have true representation of the disease burden ,as it needs acute intervention.\n\nThe fact that women are prone to physical violence ,sexual exploitation ,burns, poisoning, and accidents symbolize gender inequalities, sociocultural barriers and failures in protective systems throughout the depth .The consequences of medico legal cases( MLCs )to women are varied. Medically ,such cases can cause trauma, disability and even death.AT the psychological level ,there is usually posttraumatic stress ,depression and social stigma in the victims . Injuries among women remain an important yet often under-documented public health concern in Egypt, especially in rural and upper Egyptian hospital settings. Hospital based trauma data frequently suffer from incomplete documentation ,limiting understanding of injury trends and medico-legal implications .\n\nIn conservative contexts ,gender -based violence is often unreported or recorded inadequately due to stigma and systemic gaps in documentation practices. National demographic research indicates that women 's education and employment status are linked to a lower risk of physical intimate partner violence, with education mediating IPV outcomes before and after the Arab spring .\n\nDespite high estimates globally that one in three women experiences intimate partner violence ,Egypt lacks sufficient hospital-based studies examining injury patterns in female patients ,particularly in Upper and Lower Egypt."}, 'eligibilityModule': {'sex': 'FEMALE', 'stdAges': ['ADULT', 'OLDER_ADULT'], 'minimumAge': '18 Years', 'samplingMethod': 'NON_PROBABILITY_SAMPLE', 'studyPopulation': 'Female patients with age equal or more than 18years old presenting with physical trauma', 'eligibilityCriteria': 'Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* Female patients.\n* Age equal or more than 18 years old.\n* Presenting with physical trauma\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Refusal to participate\n* Suspected fabrication\n* Psychiatric condition'}, 'identificationModule': {'nctId': 'NCT07441356', 'briefTitle': 'Female Trauma Cases', 'organization': {'class': 'OTHER', 'fullName': 'Assiut University'}, 'officialTitle': 'Medico_legal Assessment of Female Trauma Cases Attended to Assuit University Hospital', 'orgStudyIdInfo': {'id': 'Study of female trauma cases'}}, 'contactsLocationsModule': {'centralContacts': [{'name': 'Neama Nageh Mohammad, Domenstrator', 'role': 'CONTACT', 'email': 'n8386296@gmail.com', 'phone': '+20 012 73735394'}, {'name': 'Aml Aly Mohammad, Professor', 'role': 'CONTACT', 'email': 'aml_aly@yahoo.com', 'phone': '+20 10 16353580'}], 'overallOfficials': [{'name': 'Amal Aly Mohammad, Professor', 'role': 'STUDY_DIRECTOR', 'affiliation': 'Assiut University'}]}, 'sponsorCollaboratorsModule': {'leadSponsor': {'name': 'Assiut University', 'class': 'OTHER'}, 'responsibleParty': {'type': 'PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR', 'investigatorTitle': 'Demonstrator', 'investigatorFullName': 'Neama Nageh Mohammad Hussien', 'investigatorAffiliation': 'Assiut University'}}}}
