A single dose administration of sugammadex (Sug) 2.0mg/kg according to ideal body weight (IBW) was given at the reappearance of the second twitch of the train-of-four (TOF) response.\n\nOn one hand, venous blood samples were obtained before administration of Sug and at 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 60 minutes and 2, 4, 6, 8 hours after administration of Sug to determine plasma concentration of Sug using HPLC-MS. On the other hand, time from start of administration of Sug to recovery of TOF ratio to 0.9 and other clinical indicators were also recorded.'}, 'eligibilityModule': {'sex': 'ALL', 'stdAges': ['ADULT'], 'maximumAge': '60 Years', 'minimumAge': '18 Years', 'healthyVolunteers': False, 'eligibilityCriteria': 'Inclusion Criteria:\n\n* ASA: Ⅰ\\~Ⅲ\n* BMI≥25kg/m²\n* Patients receiving bariatric surgery.\n\nExclusion Criteria:\n\n* Pregnant or lactating women\n* Neuromuscular diseases\n* Malignant hyperthermia or allergic history during general anesthesia\n* Drugs that react with rocuronium and vecuronium were taken'}, 'identificationModule': {'nctId': 'NCT04131218', 'briefTitle': 'Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics of Sugammadex in Reversal of Vecuronium-induced Neuromuscular Blockade', 'organization': {'class': 'OTHER', 'fullName': 'Guangzhou General Hospital of Guangzhou Military Command'}, 'officialTitle': 'Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics of Sugammadex in Reversal of Vecuronium-induced Neuromuscular Blockade in Anesthesia Obese Patients Undergoing Bariatric Surgery', 'orgStudyIdInfo': {'id': 'PK and PD of Sug'}}, 'armsInterventionsModule': {'armGroups': [{'type': 'EXPERIMENTAL', 'label': 'Obese group', 'description': 'n=8, 25≤BMI≤39.9kg/m²', 'interventionNames': ['Drug: Sugammadex']}, {'type': 'EXPERIMENTAL', 'label': 'Morbidly obese group', 'description': 'n=8, BMI≥40kg/m²', 'interventionNames': ['Drug: Sugammadex']}], 'interventions': [{'name': 'Sugammadex', 'type': 'DRUG', 'otherNames': ['Bridion', 'Org 25969'], 'description': 'Each patient received a single dose administration of sugammadex 2mg/kg according to the ideal body weight (IBW) at reappearance of the second twitch of the train-of-four (TOF).', 'armGroupLabels': ['Morbidly obese group', 'Obese group']}]}, 'contactsLocationsModule': {'locations': [{'zip': '510010', 'city': 'Guangzhou', 'state': 'Guangdong', 'country': 'China', 'facility': 'Guangzhou Military Region General Hospital, Department of Anesthesiology', 'geoPoint': {'lat': 23.11667, 'lon': 113.25}}]}, 'sponsorCollaboratorsModule': {'leadSponsor': {'name': 'Guangzhou General Hospital of Guangzhou Military Command', 'class': 'OTHER'}, 'responsibleParty': {'type': 'PRINCIPAL_INVESTIGATOR', 'investigatorTitle': 'Clinical Professor', 'investigatorFullName': 'bo xu', 'investigatorAffiliation': 'Guangzhou General Hospital of Guangzhou Military Command'}}}}
