Needle-based confocal laser endomicroscopy (nCLE) is a novel endoscopic technique, which is compatible with the 19-gauge FNA needle. Under endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) guidance, nCLE enables real-time in vivo imaging of lesion tissues at cellular and subcellular levels.
