The investigators hypothesize vitamin D deficiency will be highly prevalent in obese adolescents and those who are vitamin D deficient will be more insulin resistant.', 'detailedDescription': 'This is a cross-sectional study of obese female adolescents matched for age, sex and pubertal staging.
