Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Event Group path is as follows:

Title: Double-Blind Period: Placebo With Language Intervention
Description: Double-Blind Placebo Period: After a 4-month single-blind placebo lead-in period, subjects with FXS were randomized to receive a placebo suspension by mouth twice per day in an 8 month double-blind treatment period. During the double-blind treatment period, dose titration to maximum tolerated dose of matching placebo occurred over 7 weeks. After 7 weeks, the dose was fixed, and at the 2 month visit, the intensive language intervention was initiated. Subjects continued the language intervention while remaining on placebo for the next 6 months. Safety and efficacy assessments were performed throughout.
