Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Description: The group of morbidly obese patients assigned to laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy. Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy: Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG) is a restrictive bariatric procedure. LSG involves resection of a large part of the body and fundus of the stomach starting from the antrum up to the angle of His. The remaining part of the stomach (the gastric sleeve) is calibrated with a 36 French bougie.
