Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Event Group path is as follows:

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Event Group

Title: Part 2b: Untreated Group (Natural History of Non-exon 53)
Description: Untreated participants intended to evaluate the natural history of the disease with DMD and various genetic mutations (not amenable to exon 53 skipping) were included in this group and did not received any treatment. Participants underwent the same study assessments as treated participants in other reporting groups (except for PK sampling and muscle biopsies), but at a reduced schedule through Week 144. Thus, the untreated participants were not considered as control group.
