Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Description: Subjects who were randomized to the THERMOCOOL group, i.e., to receive NAVISTAR® THERMOCOOL® Catheter at randomization; OR received the Catheter after failing the effectiveness endpoint. The Biosense Webster NAVISTAR® THERMOCOOL® Diagnostic/Ablation Deflectable Tip Catheter is a luminal catheter with a deflectable tip designed to facilitate electrophysiological mapping of the heart and to transmit radiofrequency current to the catheter tip electrode for ablation purposes.
