Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Title: Morbidly Obese
Description: The morbidly obese (BMI ≥ 40 kg/m2) arm will be recruited first. Each morbidly obese subject will be matched to a non-obese subject (BMI 18.5-29.9 kg/m2) based on age (± 5 years), sex, and ideal body weight (± 4.6 kg, i.e. ± 5 cm in height). Each group will receive a single dose of tedizolid phosphate 200 mg through a peripheral intravenous catheter.
