Event Group

Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Event Group path is as follows:

Title: Usual Care
Description: In the control arm, patients will receive 'usual care' left at the discretion of the treating physician. Apart from the general training session for all participating physicians they have attended prior to recruitment and randomization, physicians in the control arm will not receive additional tools. They are expected (but not forced) to follow the Belgian guidelines (as described in "BAPCOC National guidelines and the RIZIV consensus meeting "Rational use of antibiotics in children").
