Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Title: Fluoxetine Group
Description: Approximately 96 patients will be enrolled into the intervention (Phase II) over the duration of the entire study. Fluoxetine: Patients enrolled into Phase II will be prescribed 2 weeks of short-acting fluoxetine 20 mg and will be instructed to take the prescription daily for 2 weeks. Then patients will be prescribed 10 additional weeks of 90 mg (weekly) fluoxetine and will be observed taking it once weekly at the dialysis unit. At the end of the 12 week study period, participants will be provided 4 additional weeks of 90 mg fluoxetine in order to provide sufficient time to follow up with their primary care physician or nephrologist.
