Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Title: Placebo
Description: Qualifying phase: Participants entered a 2-week washout period if needed to discontinue antianginal drugs (except beta-blockers) followed by placebo to match ranolazine (1 tablet twice daily) during a 4-week run-in period. Participants with at least 85% adherence to documentation requirements (angina frequency and sublingual nitroglycerin use) over the last 21 days of the placebo run-in period were randomized to the treatment period. Treatment Period: Placebo to match ranolazine (Day 1: 1 tablet in the evening; Days 2-7: 1 tablet twice daily; 2 tablets twice daily thereafter) for up to 8 weeks.
