Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Event Group path is as follows:

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Event Group

NCT ID: NCT04028960
Group ID: EG000
Title: Placebo
Description: No active drug SipNose intranasal device: The SipNose device is an aerosol nasal delivery platform that uses pressurized delivery through the discharge of compressed air, resulting in an aerosol that delivers the drug in a narrow plume geometry, which targets the olfactory epithelium in the upper nasal cavity. From the olfactory epithelium, therapeutics rapidly reach the central nervous system, traveling extracellularly along the olfactory nerves. The device is not currently commercially available, but numerous studies have demonstrated its ability to intranasally deliver radiolabeled and therapeutic compounds to the brain.
