Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Event Group path is as follows:

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Event Group

Title: Reinterpretation
Description: Participants will receive structured cognitive emotion regulation training from an experimenter during an approximately 10-minute interaction in which detailed instructions for implementation of the reinterpretation strategy is explained (i.e. imagining a better outcome than what initially seemed apparent). Cognitive Emotion Regulation Training: Cognitive emotion regulation training via cognitive reappraisal involves the ability to modify the trajectory of an emotional response by thinking about and appraising emotional information in an alternative, more adaptive way. Reappraisal to down-regulate negative emotion can be operationalized via two tactics: psychological distancing and reinterpretation. The current study will randomly assign participants to receive a brief course of reappraisal training using either psychological distancing or reinterpretation.
