Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Event Group path is as follows:

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Event Group

Title: EI Group (50 mg)
Description: OPS-2071 was orally administered at a dose of 25 mg twice daily in the morning and evening for 7 days. The administration was started with the 100 mg group, and the safety and efficacy during the treatment period were to be assessed by the Data Review Committee. If the 100 mg group had no safety concerns and the efficacy was assessed "effective," 10 subjects each who were not in the 100 mg group were to be randomized to the 200 mg or 50 mg group, and the 2 groups were to be treated in parallel. If the 100 mg group had no safety concerns and the efficacy was assessed "not effective," 10 subjects who were not in the 100 mg group were to be allocated to the 200 mg group as the next step.
