Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Event Group path is as follows:

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Event Group

Title: Patients Given EMV Ventilation
Description: Baseline mechanical ventilation data with conventional pressure-limited assist/control ventilation mode will then be collected for a 4-hour period. The patients will then be transitioned to pressure-limited entrainment-based ventilation (EMV) for a 4-hour period. Baseline ventilation monitoring will be carried out either immediately preceding or immediately following EMV in the same patient. The sequence of the control/baseline phase and the experimental phase of the study will be randomized.
