Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Event Group path is as follows:

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Event Group

Title: Control
Description: The control group patients were not given the data from the electronic data monitoring. Instead, they filled out a self report form that all patients fill out. If they indicated in this report that their adherence in the previous was less than 95%, then they were flagged for "enhanced counseling" with a doctor. This counseling was based on the patient's self report. Thus both groups received enhanced counseling if they indicated poor adherence, but only the intervention group were given their electronic data output.
