Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Title: Conventional Insufflation and Trocars
Description: Subjects enrolled in this study arm will have their procedure performed using either the conventional insufflator and trocars. This system have been cleared for use by the FDA's 510 (k)process and are currently employed in clinical practice, including at UC Irvine Medical Center. Conventional Insufflator and Trocar: Conventional insufflator and trocars are used in standard procedures and will serve as the base for comparison of the study device (AirSealĀ® System).
