Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Title: VNS Control
Description: Vagus nerve stimulation and tones are given daily over a 2.5 hour period, but not in the same way as the experimental group, and in such a way that it is believed to be ineffective but still provide both VNS and tones so that blinding is maintained. VNS Control: This is the sham-control group; subjects in this group will receive both tones and VNS, but in a manner that is expected to be ineffective.
