Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Title: Non Cardiac Chest Pain Patients
Description: Patients with Chest Pain where Coronary Artery Disease has been formally ruled out are to undergo esophageal manometry testing. Esophageal Manometry: Both cohorts will undergo standard high resolution esophageal manometry testing. This entails a catheter passed through the nose into the esophagus and measures pressure changes with a series of wet swallows. As part of the study, we will also be instilling both weak acid and saline into the esophagus.
