Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Event Group path is as follows:

Title: Web-based Advance Care Planning (PATIENTS)
Description: Patients randomized to this arm will participate in web-based ACP via the PREPARE website. Web-based advance care planning: Instructions for accessing and using the PREPARE website will be shared with participants upon randomization. Patients and their caregivers review the 5 steps of PREPARE (approximately 10 minutes per step) and create an action plan for each step. The PREPARE website includes a link to a written advance directive that participants are able to complete. The PREPARE website can be reviewed on a home computer or on a tablet in the oncology practice.
