Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Event Group path is as follows:

Title: Treated Patients Randomized to Receive Survey
Description: A subset of patients (described above) will receive an automated SMS text message with a link to an online survey. This survey contains the script questions about pain management and opioid use. Observation: Patients will be contacted postoperatively via an automated text-message to assess pain, functional status, and opioid consumption. Text to online survey: Subset of surgical patients will receive an automated text message with a link to a secure online survey with questions that assess pain, functional status, and opioid consumption.
