Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Event Group path is as follows:

Study -> Results Section -> Adverse Events Module -> Event Group

Title: A New Operation
Description: Two circular incisions were performed in the left atrial wall between the pulmonary veins and the mitral annulus. with those two incisions, circumferential resection of a strip for the left atrial was obtained. The middle of pulmonary vein island was longitudinal plicated and the left appendage was ligated. Finally, the plicated pulmonary island was directly anastomosed to the lest side free wall, inferior wall, roof, the posterior walls of both superior and inferior vein cavae, and intra-atrial septum.
