Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Description: Randomized to dexamethasone ophthalmic insert 0.4mg placed prior to cataract surgery, on the day of surgery. Dextenza 0.4Mg Ophthalmic Insert: The insert, containing 0.4 mg of active pharmaceutical product, is placed within the canaliculus to provide a sustained and tapered delivery of drug to the ocular surface over 30 days after a one-time insertion. The attributes of the insert reduce the risks for improper corticosteroid tapering and unwanted peaks and troughs in drug concentration.
