Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Title: Placebo+Chemotherapy
Description: Chemotherapy = cisplatin (or carboplatin) + etoposide. Placebo 15 mg/kg by intravenous (IV) infusion on Day 1 of each of the first four 21-day cycles during chemotherapy, followed by single agent administration until disease progression, unacceptable toxicity, discontinuation from study, or death. Cisplatin 75 mg/m² IV on Day 1 of each of the first four 21-day cycles OR carboplatin (area under the curve \[AUC\]=5 mg/mL/min, per Calvert formula) IV on Day 1 of each of the first four 21-day cycles; etoposide 100 mg/m² on Days 1-3 of each of the first four 21-day cycles.
