Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Title: Sodium Octanoate Breath Test
Description: Only subjects with metabolic syndrome and suspected non alcoholic fatty liver disease will undergo breath test. They must not have any other liver disease. Sodium Octanoate Breath Test: 100 mg of 13-C labeled sodium octanoate (Octanoate for short) is to be dissolved in 1 cup of tap water and administered to subject after baseline breath collection is completed.
