Event Group

Event Groups are part of the Adverse Events Module within the Results Section. They provide a way to organize and summarize adverse event data by grouping related events together.

Each Event Group typically represents a category or class of adverse events and includes statistical information such as the number of participants affected and at risk for different event types: deaths, serious events, and other events.

Title: Placebo
Description: Children participated in a double blind placebo controlled crossover study comparing one week of treatment with the optimal dose of OROS methylphenidate with one week of treatment with placebo. The order of administering OROS-methylphenidate versus placebo was randomized and counterbalanced across participants. At the end of each week the parents rated medication side effects on the Stimulant Side Effect Rating Scale (described previously). Score of 7-9 on this scale were considered adverse effects.
