* Male adults (≥18 years) of Czech or Slovak nationality
* ≥20 own teeth
* Good oral hygiene
* Maximum Stage 2 periodontitis
Exclusion Criteria:
* Immunocompromised status
* Systemic illness
* Antibiotic use within 2 months
* Smoking
* Probiotic use during study
