* Unilateral primary total knee arthroplasty
Exclusion Criteria:
* TKA revision
* Bilateral TKA
* Patients that refuse transfusions
* Contraindication to tranexamic acid use: allergy, thromboembolic history
* Coagulopathy
* Kidney failure
