* patients undergoing elective CABG surgery
Exclusion Criteria:
* • left ventricular ejection fraction\< 40%
* diabetic or other metabolic disorders,
* use of left ventricular assist devices,
* Renal failure or on hemodialysis
* Hepatic dysfunction
* Hypothyroidism
* implanted pacemaker
