* ASA physical status I and II
* Requiring general anesthesia with nasal intubation
Exclusion Criteria:
* Previous history of pressure ulcers
* Nasal trauma or defect
* The need for emergency surgery
* Contraindications to nasal intubation
* Pregnancy
