* Currently using Nexplanon and requesting removal
* Qualifies for outpatient removal
* Ability to understand and sign informed consent
Exclusion Criteria:
* Pregnancy
* Any rashes or skin conditions around the insertion site
* Known allergy to lidocaine
* Known allergy to biocompatible plastics or stainless steel
