* exercising \< 150 minutes/week at a moderate to vigorous level
Exclusion Criteria:
* not affiliated with a gym or recreation center
* exercising \> 150 minutes/week at a moderate to vigorous level
* clinical health conditions (assessed by the PAR-Q)
