Exclusion Criteria:
* pre-existing liver abnormalities
* pre-existing kidney abnormalities
* pre-existing neuromuscular abnormalities
* contraindications to transcranial magnetic stimulation
* consumption of dietary supplements containing creatine within 30 days prior to the start of the study
