* Parturients admitted for induction of labor
* Term pregnancy (\>37 weeks gestational age)
Exclusion Criteria:
* Preterm pregnancy (\< 37 weeks gestational age) Parturients not willing or not able to give informed consent Patients receiving magnesium treatment will be excluded.
