* Diagnosis of COVID-19 through nasopharyngeal swab positive for SARS-CoV-2
* Provided written consent for the salivary analysis
* Age between 18 and 90 years
Exclusion Criteria:
* Oral bacterial or fungal infection in progress (e.g. oral candidiasis)
* Age lower than 18 and higher than 90 years
* No written consent provided
