* Males or females age 8 to 18 years inclusive.
* History of idiopathic or neuromuscular scoliosis.
* Scheduled for posterior spinal fusion.
* Parental/guardian permission (informed consent) and if appropriate, child assent.

* Inability to understand or read English to provide consent.
