* Recipients of a primary renal transplantation
* Recipients of a renal transplantation only
Exclusion Criteria:
* Recipients of a multi-organ transplantation
* Unable to take an oral medication
* Requiring an induction therapy with polyclonal, monoclonal antibodies (OKT3, ATG, ALG).
