* Age between 5 and 12 years;
* Class III malocclusion, for which early orthopedic treatment with rapid maxillary expander and facemask is indicated.
* signing of informed consent
Exclusion Criteria:
* Cleft lip and/or palate.
* Craniofacial syndromes.
