* Consenting, consecutive patients with a de novo, native coronary artery lesion longer than 20 mm.
Exclusion Criteria:
* Unprotected left main coronary artery stenosis,
* Left ventricular ejection fraction \<25%, OR
* Contraindication to aspirin or clopidogrel
