The selection criteria:
* Age was 20-45 years.
* Vital teeth, (electric pulp test)
* Apical periodontal ligament space radiographically identified
* The remaining dentin thickness at least 1mm.
Exclusion Criteria:
* Restored, periodontally weak nonvital teeth are excluded.
