* gastric adenocarcinoma
* intraoperatively suspected infiltration of surrounding organs (stage cT4bN0-3bM0)
* partial or total gastrectomy
Exclusion Criteria:
* distant metastases (M1)
* gastrectomy combined with resection of organs other than spleen, pancreas, or colon
