* Allergic rhinitis
* Symptoms May-October
* Specific IgE to alternaria (skin test/radioallergosorbent \[RAST\] test)
* Age \>14
Exclusion Criteria:
* Sensitization to mites, parietaria, mugwort
* Pregnancy-lactation
* Malignancies
* Chronic systemic steroids
* Previous immunotherapy to alternaria
