* Patients submitted to elective cholecystectomy
* Histopathological report of gallbladder cholesterolosis
* Histopathological report of chronic cholecystitis
* Patients older than 15 years of age
Exclusion Criteria:
* Patients younger than 15 years of age
* Pathological report missing from the hospital records
