* singleton term pregnancy
* bishop score
* need for labor induction with PGE2
* vertex presentation
* viable fetus
Exclusion Criteria:
* Prelabour rupture of membrane
* Twins pregnancy
* previous cesarean section
* allergy to the study medication
* fetal anomaly contraindications for vaginal delivery
* maternal supraventricular tachicardia
