* Patients receiving bariatric surgery for obesity
Exclusion Criteria:
* Other causes of liver disease (hepatitis B virus \[HBV\], hepatitis C virus \[HCV\], primary biliary cirrhosis \[PBC\], etc.)
* Patients with diabetes type I
* Patients with endocrinological reasons for obesity (eg. Cushing, etc.)
